Senior Management : My Journey as an Assistant Director in Talent Development (2016-2019)
As I reflect on my time as an Assistant Director in Talent Development at Sutherland Global Services, I am filled with a profound sense of fulfillment and pride. Over the span of 2 years and 10 months, I had the privilege of leading transformative initiatives aimed at nurturing talent and driving organizational excellence in Region III – Central Luzon, Philippines.
In my capacity as an Assistant Director, I was entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the end-to-end process of talent management. From identifying and filtering high-potential employees to orchestrating their training and development through a myriad of learning interventions, I played a pivotal role in shaping the future leaders of our organization.
At the core of my role was the mission to serve as a strategic partner and leader in talent management. Collaborating closely with Service Delivery, I spearheaded initiatives to identify, filter, and develop high-potential employees, leveraging my expertise to drive impactful change within the organization.
Facilitating learning interventions was another integral aspect of my role as an Assistant Director. Whether in traditional classroom settings or through cutting-edge virtual training platforms, I championed the delivery of learning programs that were tailored to meet the evolving needs of our workforce and the business.
Strategic business partnering was fundamental to my approach as an Assistant Director. Representing the Talent Management team in site meetings and forging strong alliances with business leaders, I worked tirelessly to ensure the effective implementation of talent management initiatives and the alignment of our efforts with organizational objectives.
People development lay at the heart of my responsibilities as an Assistant Director. Guiding and mentoring frontline talent management team members, I designed and executed development plans that empowered our team to excel in their roles and drive performance excellence across the organization.
Equipped with a diverse skill set encompassing areas such as business transformation, operational efficiency, and stakeholder engagement, I navigated the complexities of talent management with confidence and expertise. Whether analyzing data-driven insights or overcoming obstacles, I remained steadfast in my commitment to fostering a culture of continuous growth and development.
